Role: Presales Consultant

Job Description

  • Prospecting and Qualifying Leads: Support the sales team in identifying and qualifying potential customers.
  • Ownership of RFPs and RFIs: Collaborate closely with the sales and delivery teams to take ownership of RFP/RFI responses and contribute to new business opportunities, as well as enhance existing accounts.
  • Deal Commercial Modeling and Pricing: Develop and review pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with industry standards, while delivering competitive, financially sound proposals.
  • Client Solutioning: Engage in client discovery sessions to deeply understand customer pain points, and develop relevant, innovative solutions that address those challenges.
  • Proposal Development: Work with practice and delivery teams to craft compelling proposals that articulate the value and benefits of service offerings, driving successful contracts and purchases.
  • GTM Strategy Development: Spearhead Go-To-Market strategies for service offerings, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer demands.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team on demand-generation activities, including trade shows, workshops, and strategic messaging for specific verticals and sub-markets.
  • Documentation and Collateral: Ensure all marketing and sales documentation such as proposals, Statements of Work, capability decks, case studies, and debriefing materialsare up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Customer Visits and Strategic Engagement: Lead customer visits, showcase relevant capabilities, and effectively deliver pitches that align with the client’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

B Tech, MBA (Preferably from Tier 1 Institutes)

Additional information

  • 12+ years of experience in Presales.
  • 10+ years of overall IT/development background.
  • Strong experience in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and conducting POCs.
  • Proven experience working with global customers.
  • Good hands-on experience with deal commercial modeling and pricing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to identify client challenges and craft tailored solutions.
  • Right attitude, with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest digital technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with significant experience working with international markets/clients.
  • Hands-on experience with business analysis, including the ability to understand complex business situations and provide data-driven insights.
  • Strong marketing experience with expertise in business planning, account mining, market research, and creating marketing collateral such as brochures, white papers, and case studies.
