Description: We are seeking a highly creative and versatile Video Editor, Photographer, and Cinematographer to join our fashion apparel brand. In this dynamic role, you will bring our collections to life by creating captivating visual content that speaks to our audience. From photographing stunning product images to crafting cinematic videos, you will play a key role in shaping the brands narrative through striking visuals across various platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography:
- Plan and execute high-quality photoshoots for product campaigns, lookbooks, website content, and social media.
- Collaborate with designers, stylists, and creative directors to capture the essence of our collections, using innovative lighting, composition, and angles to highlight apparel and accessories.
- Conduct model and flat-lay shoots that showcase the finest details and craftsmanship of each garment.
- Retouch and edit images to meet brand standards, optimizing them for web, e-commerce, and digital marketing.
- Maintain an organized image library and ensure all assets are categorized for easy retrieval.
Cinematography:
- Direct and capture high-quality videos that showcase the brands collections, events, and behind-the-scenes moments in a visually engaging manner.
- Create captivating product videos, fashion campaign films, and brand storytelling pieces, ensuring every shot reflects the essence of the collection.
- Develop cinematic concepts and video narratives that highlight the craftsmanship, style, and personality of our apparel.
- Work closely with the creative and marketing teams to align video content with the brand’s campaigns and seasonal launches.
Video Editing:
- Edit raw footage into polished, visually captivating video content that aligns with the brand’s tone and visual identity.
- Utilize editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.) to craft seamless videos, applying color grading, transitions, sound design, and visual effects.
- Create compelling video content for various platforms including Instagram, YouTube, and the brand’s e-commerce site, ensuring it fits the format and length requirements of each channel.
- Develop promotional videos for seasonal launches, events, and collaborations that enhance the brand’s digital marketing campaigns.
- Implement creative storytelling techniques, adding music, graphics, and animations to elevate the final product.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Creative Vision: A deep understanding of fashion photography and cinematography, with a strong visual aesthetic that aligns with luxury and lifestyle brands.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in camera operation, lighting techniques, and professional editing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.).
- Storytelling: Ability to convey a brand’s message and personality through both static images and cinematic video content.
- Efficiency: Highly organized with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Adaptability: Flexible in shooting both in-studio and on-location, and skilled at editing for various social media platforms, from short-form Instagram Reels to long-form YouTube content.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fashion photography, cinematography, and video editing (2+ years preferred).
- A strong portfolio showcasing fashion or lifestyle content across photography and cinematography.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant software.
- Familiarity with studio lighting, on-location shooting, and post-production editing.
- Knowledge of current digital and social media trends, especially in the fashion industry.
- Strong collaborative skills, able to work with designers, models, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on creative vision.
