Accelworx, a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, is seeking a skilled EV Charging Station Design Engineer to join our team in Chennai. As an integral part of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing cutting-edge electric vehicle charging stations that align with industry standards and client requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative , considering factors such as layout, electrical requirements, and user experience.
- Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed drawings and specifications for charging station installations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify optimal locations for charging infrastructure deployment, taking into account factors such as accessibility, grid capacity, and environmental impact.
- Work closely with suppliers and contractors to source materials, procure equipment, and oversee the installation process, maintaining quality control and adherence to project timelines.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends related to electric vehicle charging infrastructure, incorporating innovative solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical design and engineering, with a focus on renewable energy systems or electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with electrical design principles and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical challenges and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with a collaborative approach to project management and stakeholder engagement.
